About Soil pH

Soil pH affects how well your grass can absorb nutrients. Even if you fertilize correctly, a poor pH can lock out nutrients. Most turf grasses prefer a pH of 6.0–7.0. Centipedegrass prefers slightly more acidic conditions around 5.5.
